CHALLENGE
The client experienced several years of stable growth and had a strong relationship with its broker of 20 years. Due to the longstanding nature of the relationship, the compensation being paid to the broker was no longer commensurate with the amount of work being undertaken, and the company needed help managing what was viewed as a sensitive and necessary discussion.
SOLUTION
ER provided benchmarking and guidance on typical fees and commissions payable to brokers. ER worked with the client and broker to run an analysis on how to better improve ways of working and ensure that the renumeration to the broker was proportionate to the work undertaken.
